Town Meeting - Open Forum

A panel, consisting Mayor Joe Capozzolo, Police Chief G. Kerrigan, newly appointed Borough Manager, John Kasten, Borough Council Members, Authority Members, and newly appointed Park Board Members, will convene May 20 (Tue) 7:00P.M. at Bangor Borough Hall (The Bee Hive) on Pennsylvania Avenue.

After a brief introduction the panel will be available to address questions pertaining to areas of concern in the Borough.

Citizens will be asked to cooperate by addressing ONE major concern together with their suggestion for its improvement. They will be asked to submit their questions and their suggestions for improvement in writing upon entering the building. If you wish to address the panel directly rather than have the moderator read your question, sign your name to the paper you hand in.

This manner of meeting will allow more participants to be heard and avoid duplication of questions.

In the event you didn’t get your question written beforehand, those arriving early (6:45pm) will be given paper and pencil at the entrance in order to write their question before the meeting begins.  Papers are to be given to the moderator before the start of the meeting.

This is the second event in a series of Town Meetings sponsored by the Bangor Block Watch.

All are invited to attend come and  meet the persons responsible for the care, protection and betterment of Bangor. Officials need to hear from you, the public. Together we will  build a “Better Bangor.”
